Hello! Its me again.
With Holy week behind us and spring (hopefully) upon us, it is time for new growth and new hope.
Our Maundy Thursday and Easter services were well attended. We had over 20 people for the sunrise service and over 100 for the 10 o’clock.
As we look forward to the future as a church, and say goodbye to Reverend Karen, we have some new things coming.
We have scheduled a church clean-up day for Saturday, April 27th beginning at 10am. We are asking each committee to review their storage areas. We want to get rid of junk and protect things that need to stay.
We have a yard and plant sale on Saturday, May 11th. A CPR class May 25th. We also have another trivia night with a turkey dinner.
Our church is alive and we are growing. We are learning more about ourselves and each other. Our church squad is still hard at work and hopes to have a suitable candidate to present to you. We ask for your continued patience and Prayers for our success. We thank you for the trust and faith you have in us.
We will be without a settled Minister a little while longer. Your church leaders are hard at work behind the scenes to continue to run services and keep the lights on.
Please continue to attend services and activities. Continue to Pray for our success and for the right candidate to be called to us. Bring your thoughts and concerns to your church council. We are here for you. If you need Pastoral care, call me.
Let us continue this walk together, moving ever forward towards the goal of showing Gods love to each other and the world.
Let’s walk together while remembering to smell the flowers, enjoy the sunshine and help each other through the struggles.
I wish you all Peace and Joy,
Michell
