On April 26th the Handbell Choir visited Dunns Corners Community Church in Westerly, RI for a handbell workshop with Jane Nolan! It was a great day of learning more about  handbell technique, rhythm reading, and even ringing and walking at the same time! We call it “Ring-a-Palooza,” and it is an annual RI spring-ring event!

I’d like to thank Cathy (Cormier) Seiler for playing with us on Easter Sunday! It was fun to welcome her back to her “home church” and for her to share her handbell expertise! I’d also like to thank Missy McNeil, Matt Boday, and Mason Boday for playing with the handbell choir when needed! They are talented musicians, and we are so lucky to have them in our church family!

On May 25, the small handbell choir will visit Pastor Emily’s church, the United Parish of Upton! We will be supplying music for their service. We look forward to sharing our music!

Save the date: On Sunday, June 29 at 3pm five of our handbell choir members will be performing at the biennial Handbell Festival/Conference at Worcester State! This will feature about 200 handbell musicians playing all together!! You don’t want to miss this performance!!
