The search committee is on the move. We have posted the music director position in customary places including the UCC website and organist guilds. We have also reached out to music education folks, LinkedIn and Craigslist. There has been activity and we have received two resumes which we are reviewing.

In addition, we reached out to the Peace Dale Congregational Church in South Kingstown, RI. They are also in the midst of a search and are at the point of interviewing their final three of twelve applicants. They are going to ask the candidates who are not chosen if they can forward their resumes along to us. This will most likely be later in July.

LinkedIn is a networking source as well as a place to advertise job postings. In the coming week, the plan is to reach out to folks who are involved in the local choir/chorus/church music world for potential referrals or applicants. We are also reaching out to individuals who we think could be interested as well as evaluating additional posting options.
